Congrats to you and your kids Tyler! I was watching results come in on Saturday and Sunday anxiously - you have built one heck of a team!

Future state champions and possibly the next Ohio team to win the Small School National Championship? Hope they keep developing and getting better. Keep doing what you're doing and building a program there Tyler.

Congrats, Tyler. It was a pleasure to read for your kids a few weeks ago and I'm very glad to see them do so well here. I'm NOT looking forward to coaching against them at the high school level, ha :)

Yeah I realized that while I was at baseball, sucks... but as Alex said, I'm not looking forward to coaching against them in the future years.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words...it means a lot to hear from so many folks that I've looked up to over the years and try to emulate now. The team had a great time at its first national tournament, and the eighth graders are looking forward to moving up to play with the "big kids" next year (although I've already warned them there's going to be a steeper learning curve!). I'm excited to see many of you again next season and get more involved in all levels of the Ohio circuit. And good luck to everyone headed to the HSNCT in a few weeks!
