The Ohio Quizbowl Forum

The Sidney Academia Team will be hosting a Fall Tournament on Saturday, October 24th, 2015. The tournament will be played using NAQT 149-A set.

All teams will be guaranteed ten games, and the cap for the field is 36 teams.

Fee Structure:
$50 for the first team
$40 for each additional team
-$10 per experienced moderator (please get in touch with me if you plan to take this discount)


Teams are asked to bring a working buzzer system with them if at all possible. Given the low registration fee being charged, it is unfortunately not possible to offer a buzzer discount. Lunch will be available for purchase at the tournament site.

Checks should be made out to Sidney Academia, and payment may be made in advance (mail to Sidney High School Attn: Brett Bickel, 1215 Campbell Road, Sidney, OH 45365) or may be brought the day of the tournament.

Date change from 10/17 to 10/24 because our cafeteria was double-booked and a community group got the date. We will now host on 10/24.

Tipp will be there, probably with two teams.

After a nine game round robin in a ten team field, Sidney A won the tournament going 9-0, with Tipp A gettting second going 8-1,and Miami Valley A getting third going 7-2. A full stats report should hopefully surface on Monday. Thanks to everybody who attended this tournament!
