A great tournament as always and was also great to see the spectacular new building they have at Northmont. I had the pleasure of reading some absolutely fantastic games yesterday and came away thoroughly impressed with the teams in the Dayton/Cincinnati area that are usually an afterthought to those teams that are in the picture every single year (Ex. Northmont, Fisher, Tipp, St. Charles, etc.). Both Centerville and Beavercreek looked exceptionally impressive and should make for a very competitive and interesting GWOC season - something we have not had in a long time. Thanks again to David for a great tournament!

Do you have any idea why they have a team this year after they didn't last year?

Not sure what prompted the push for them to have a team but they have a new coach who is able to get kids out - she said she has about 40 at each practice which is super impressive!

The GWOC commissioner has been putting a lot of pressure on the ADs and principals to field teams. They were able to get Beavercreek and Springfield back this year, which looked like it would put us at all 18 until Trotwood folded last week and dropped out. Tipp and Stebbins join next year, so the conference gets even more loaded.
