Might as well get this party started...

Tournament formerly known as Rowdy Raider will be December 6 at Northmont
TRASH 2014 will be December 13 at Olmsted Falls, Tipp and hopefully a southeast site if Minford or someone else wants to host.

I plan on running events at OU-Southern in Ironton again as well as the University of Findlay. East Palestine wants to do another fall invitational and would like to host trash as well. Patrick Henry, in the northwest, expressed interest in hosting a weekend tournament but I'm not sure what will come of that.

Tiffin Columbian has been chomping at the bit to host FKT. I don't know if Hubbard will want to do it again, but if they don't, I'll find someone else in the Youngstown area to do it.

With Easter falling during the first weekend of April next season, NHBB on the last weekend, and NAQT Small School probably on the first weekend in May again (I've asked R to confirm this), we'll need to figure out how to fit NAQT State and OAC Regionals/State in there. Speaking personally, I don't want another conflict between OAC State and NAQT Small School.

Is there much of a conflict between the schools that are (or would have been) attending NAQT Small School with OAC State, even to the point of justifying a major tournament (NAQT/OAC) being scheduled on Holy Saturday? While it's not desirable to have any conflicts, does one minimize the impact of another?

Sidney will be hosting FKT on October 4th and the Yellow Jacket Invitational on March 7th

R emailed me and said that SSNCT will probably not run on the first weekend of May due to it being an "unpopular" date, but they've already announced MSNCT to be May 8-10 so they can't really flip-flop those weekends now. I have to wonder if he's going to go head-to-head against NHBB or push it to May 15-17 instead, which would still leave a two week gap between that and HSNCT. I hope to find out for sure this weekend when I head up there.

Date claim for Tippecanoe Academic Challenge - November 1st. We will run on an A packet once again.

As Bob mentioned, TFK as Rowdy Raider will be December 6th at Northmont. The Northmont OAC event with likely mirror at WG Harding will be on January 17th.

Also, i am working with Emily on bringing an event to Wright State this fall, shortly after FKT. It would be on an A set or maybe the SCOP Novice set to try and capitalize on the momentum of FKT and get some more teams playing on novice sets early in the year.

Little Miami will be hosting their 2nd annual pyramidal OAC event on November 15th. The Northmont writing team will be writing that tournament in addition to our January housewrite. We would love to see this one mirrored in the NE or elsewhere if there is a group who wants to make a little money. Just let me know since we are handling the question writing.

Can someone salvage the 2013-2014 calendar in full and post it for comparison purposes?

David, I'd like to mirror that fall OAC set somewhere. I have a few possible hosts in mind, but might not be able to run the same weekend (most likely 11/22).

St. Charles will host our annual OAC format event on November 8

The calendar has been posted as a global announcement.

The University of Kentucky will be hosting our Fall Championship on November 22.

East Palestine will host its NAQT event again on 11/15, then I'll be mirroring David's Fall OAC Set on 11/22 at Hudson.

As soon as I get the dates straightened out (mostly my fault), I'll announce events at Cloverleaf and at South Range in the last two weekends of October.

Ohio State will host FKT on October 4 and Winter War Invitational IV on January 31.

We will be using HSAPQ set 53 for Winter War 4.

Nothing is set in stone, but Lynn Stevenson told me that if Fisher's Golden Shamrock happens this year, it will be on Saturday October 25th. Considering that's my week home for mid-semester break, it is total ****-up proof for me to show up late and get screamed at.
