The Olentangy Liberty HS Quiz Bowl Team, and I present The Inaugural DelFranCo League Tournament on Saturday, January 10th 2015 at Olentangy Liberty High School in Powell, Ohio. Doors open at 8 am. Start time will be 9 am. Payment can be made to OLHS and put In The Know in the memo.

Field cap is 24 teams. Teams will be broken into 4 preliminary brackets of 6 teams each and will play round robin. At the conclusion of morning play, teams will be re-bracketed into 6 brackets of 4 to play another round robin with similar teams, with the top 2 teams at the conclusion of afternoon play for the tournament championship if needed. Every team will be guaranteed 8 rounds.
Teams are expected to bring a moderator. Teams will play on the 2014-2015 edition of the Scholastic Cooperative Outreach Network (SCOP) Novice set.
Entry fees are as follows:
$35 per team
(-$5) per working, 8-player-minimum buzzer system 1 per team that you bring
The distribution for this set is as follows:
5 tossups/5 bonuses in Science, including 1/1 of conceptual [noncomputational] mathematics
4/4 Literature
4/4 History
2/2 Religion and Mythology
2/2 Fine Arts
1/1 Geography
1/1 Current Events
1/1 Pop culture and/or anything else considered non-academic, commonly referred to in the lingo as "trash"
