Standings from just the OAC regionals-qualified bracket:

1. Copley A (7-0)
2. Boardman (6-1)
3. Olmsted Falls (5-2)
4. Solon A (4-3)
5. Cloverleaf A (3-4)
6. Aurora (2-5)
7. Hoover A (1-6)
8. Brunswick (0-7)

Thanks to Mr. Flint and Cloverleaf for hosting. This was our first OAC tournament and we had a great experience; the questions and readers were excellent. Congrats to Copley!

Our bracket (Kylo Ren) was:

University School 7-0
North 5-2
Copley C 5-2
Lake 5-2
St. Ignatius B 4-3
Keystone 2-5
Waynedale 1-6
Buckeye 0-7

We lost to Copley C by 9 and got smacked by University School, who we had beaten up at Solon in the fall. Nathan Hazlett from Copley C is going to be the best player in his grade for the next 4 years, at least that's my prediction. I never had the privilege of reading for Sam as a middle schooler, but he's probably the best I've ever seen in this part of the state in my fifteen years of coaching/reading/TD'ing.

We will see many of you at Olmsted Falls and Solon in February. Good luck to everybody playing anywhere this weekend - we will be hosting our conference tournament.

Thanks to all who attended this year's Cloverleaf Invitational Academic Challenge Tournament. It was great to see so many familiar and new faces at this year's event. With twenty-four schools fielding forty-eight teams, with about 450 people in attendance, it was one of the largest turnouts we have had in the twelve years we have hosted this event. I hope your students had a good day of quiz bowl.

Below are the bracket/division results. The question set written by David Jones et. al. was very well received. Several of the JV teams were middle school kids (Cloverleaf, Copley, Westlake) and they did quite well for being so yong

One of the 4-3 Hoover JV teams is actually my JV team from North. They went 2-2 in the morning, with both losses coming by 1 point. Good to see some growth out of them though in our first tournament since October.
