SWxNE at Clermont NE :: 1 December
Posted: Mon Oct 29, 2018 10:34 amAlong with Coach Missy Hardy and the Clermont Northeastern academic quiz team, I would like to invite you and your students to CNEHS on Saturday, December 1 for a tournament played in the tossup-bonus format on the 2018 Middle School National Championship set written by National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT). This tournament will qualify top finishers for NAQT's overall and small school national championships. It also counts as a qualifying event for the OAC regional tournament, provided at least 6 schools register.
The entry fee for this event will be $75 for your first team, $65 for additional teams; a $5 discount is available if you bring a functioning, 8-player minimum buzzer set. An additional $10 discount is available if you or another adult that you name volunteers to serve as a moderator. Checks should be made payable to Greg Bossick (please do not make them out to any other entity); you will be invoiced, and a W-9 form provided, after registering.
During the break between the morning (preliminary) and afternoon (playoff) sessions, concessions will be sold on site.
We will be using the NAQT registration system to handle registration, rosters, and other logistics. Once that link is available, it will be posted. In the meantime, express your interest in this event to Coach Hardy by emailing her at hardy_m@cneschools.org.
