MS Give Thanks for Matt's Buzzers VII ONLINE [NAQT MS-35]

This tournament will take place on November 14, 2020, entirely online. This year, Give Thanks for Matt's Buzzers will only feature a middle school division. The question set used will be NAQT MS-35.
This tournament is a benefit event for Matt's Buzzers, an organization that provides financial aid to quiz bowl teams around the country in memory of Matt Cvijanovich.
The initial field cap will be 12 teams, with each school limited to two teams until November 1. Teams that wish to register more than two teams may ask for their additional teams to be waitlisted.
Until November 1, only teams from Ohio and states bordering Ohio (KY, IN, MI, PA, WV) may register. Teams from states outside our geographic restriction may ask to be waitlisted until November 1.
Payment can be made by mailing a check to The Miami Valley School (put "Quiz Bowl" in the memo). Our address is 5151 Denise Dr, Dayton, OH 45429. You may also pay via Venmo or PayPal (send an email to tyler DOT benedict AT mvschool DOT com for Venmo/PayPal information).
Tournament play will begin at 9:00 A.M. Eastern Time. All teams will play eight games. We expect to finish play at 5:00 Eastern, although we will certainly try to move more quickly.
FEES:
First Team: $65
Each Additional Team: $55
STAFF DISCOUNT: -$15 per competent moderator who is experienced at running online quiz bowl. Please email tyler DOT benedict AT mvschool DOT com with the name(s) of the staffer(s) that you will provide.
MINIMUM Fee: $35
If your program has not played a pyramidal tossup-bonus quiz bowl tournament in the last three years, your team(s) will automatically qualify for the minimum fee of $35. Please ask if you have questions regarding this discount.
