Beavercreek Fall Invitational - 10/16/21 - CALISTO 2

I am excited to announce the fifth annual Beavercreek Fall Invitational Tournament which will take place on October 16th, 2021 at:

As per previous years, all teams will be guaranteed 10 rounds. We will do initial round robin games in pods of 6, then rebracket in the afternoon to play 5 more rounds with teams of similar records.

We will be mirroring CALISTO 2, a high school regular difficulty question set. Information about the set can be found here: https://hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewtopic ... 09&t=25155.

Each match will be untimed and consist of 20 tossups and 20 bonuses. Teams may consist of up to six players. Four players may play at a time for a team, and teams with less than four players are allowed. Once players are assigned to a team’s roster at the start of the tournament, those players cannot be moved between teams. We will be using both powers and negs, and bonuses will not bounce back.

The cost of the tournament will be $70 for the first team and $60 for any additional teams, with a $10 discount per qualified reader and $5 discount for each working buzzer system, up to as many teams as you register for the tournament.
