Copley Invitational

Thank you to the 92 teams, readers and numerous volunteers who attended the 26th Copley Invitational.

There were 56 teams competing in the OAC Tournament. A special thanks to Brian Easterling for writing portions of the set.

Congratulations to Walsh, Our Lady of the Elms and Turpin for qualifying for OAC Regionals.

The final statistics for the middle school tournament can be found here: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/db/tournaments/4299/

All teams played 5 preliminary games, then 3 playoff games. The top four teams then played a single elimination tournament for the championship, which was won by Miami Valley over Copley. Roosevelt (PA) avenged an earlier loss to Northmont to finish 3rd.

No pressure meant to be put on them, but looking at William's stats, even on MS questions... if MVS doesn't win at least one, if not multiple state championships over the next 3+ years, I'd be highly shocked. I'm really looking forward to watching the Grogers and their teammates compete over the next couple years.
