Northmont took a spring break trip up to New England and competed at Boston Latin School. There were several really good teams up here, including Lexington and Phillips Academy from Massachusetts, and a couple other top 100 teams in Acton-Boxborough and AMSA (neither of which was at full strength).

Northmont came home in 3rd place, losing to the eventual champion Philips Academy and runner-up Lexington. We ended up with three other teams at 7-2, but were awarded 3rd because we beat the other two 7-2 teams (a really good Andover team and a team from Barrington, RI) and they didn't have to play both top teams like we did.

The organization of the tournament was kind of shaky, since the team does not have an advisor and there wasn't an adult in the building. It was very similar to Prison Bowl in terms of shaky organization, but it was still good to see a lot of teams from a different region of the country. Final stats (that look incomplete) can be found here: https://stats.neg5.org/t/SJ-MR0TKf/spit ... -standings

Congratulations to Copley for dominating in Pittsburgh and to MVS for playing really well against a strong field at TJ.
