Afternoon Tournament Winners:
Harrison
Fairfield
Grand Champions: Walnut Hills
Walnut Hills was pretty dominant all day, they've got a very strong returning group! Sidney had a dramatic 9 point comeback over Tipp in the semi-finals. That being said, Tipp was very impressive throughout the day.
Talawanda was able to pull off a division victory from a 3-way tie at 4-1 with Harrison and Lakota West.
Harrison is also bringing back everybody from last year and will definitely challenge Little Miami and Talawanda in the SWOC this season.
Fairfield were definitely the cardiac kids in the afternoon. Winning their quarterfinal match over Finneytown on a question via a protest. Winning their semi-final match over Piqua by 2 on the last question and then defeating GMC rival Lakota West by 4.
Proud to have qualified 7 teams for the OAC regional tournament! Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all the teams who participated. See you in 2019!
